2026 Race Season Rules and Classes
General Rules:

4 or more cars to make a class (Novice excluded).

No AVC or Driving Aid devices on any car.

1/10th scale vehicles only.

Electric powered vehicles only.
-
Hard Case Lipos are required, NO Soft Packs.
-
Race Director has final say on rules during race night.
-
If a rule changes it will be posted as soon as possible.
-
Racers are subject to tech at any time during the race night at the discretion of the race director.

This is a Beginner Class; the goal of this class is to improve on overall skill level if you are new to racing.
Street Stock Rules:

Chassis: Any production 1/10th scale buggy, no oval chassis cars, Team Associated SR10 and SR10m are legal. No adjustable arms, only aftermarket buggy parts allowed.

Dirt Midget Rules:
*All height measurements are from bottom of chassis unless otherwise noted.*
General: Maximum Overall Length: 16.750".
Maximum Chassis Width: 4.2" Solid axles are allowed. If solid axles are used the rear axle must be square with centerline of the chassis and parallel to the front axle.
Wheelbase: Min 9.5” Max 10.0”
Width: Minimum = 8.5”; Maximum = 10.0”
Rear Toe: Only non-adjustable rear arms can be used. Trackside toe adjustable rear hubs and or arms are not allowed. Trackside adjustable wheelbase is not allowed (Cannot have toe blocks or anything else attached to an easily adjustable mechanism to allow for wheelbase change trackside).
Offset: Right side of the cage can be no further offset from the outside of the RR tire than 3.625”.
Ballast Weight: Brass, tungsten or steel hubs, arms, arm inserts, caster blocks, steering arms are not allowed. (Ballast weight that can be attached to the main chassis area is allowed as long as it’s secured properly.)
Transmission/Drivetrain: 3 gear transmissions only (No DD, 2, 4 or 5 gear transmissions will be allowed). All gears must be full gears. No narrowed or lightened gears allowed. Plastic, Aluminum and Steel gears are permitted. Steel outdrives only. Blades are permitted. No gear diffs allowed. No rear motor cars allowed unless you can do it in a manner that the tail tank is appropriately sized and located.
Solid Axle Option: If a solid rear axle design is used, the motor must be mounted to the chassis and CVA/CVD must be used to drive the rear axle. No belts or chains will be allowed. A spur gear and pinion must be used in conjunction with the motor plate mounted to the chassis.
CVA/CVD: Dog bones must be equal length. Axles and bones must be made from steel. No aluminum, titanium or magnesium axles or bones allowed.
No aluminum diffs or gear diffs.

Pure Stock / SR10
Class Description
Pure Stock is a beginner and budget-friendly class intended for new racers entering dirt oval racing. The goal of this class is to keep the cars close to box stock, inexpensive to maintain, and easy to race competitively.
The platform for this class is the Team Associated SR10. Drivers should focus on driving skill rather than expensive modifications.
Any modification not explicitly listed as legal below is considered illegal.

No other chassis are permitted.
Body
Bodies must be Chili Bowl approved dirt oval style bodies. Bodies must maintain a scale appearance and may not be modified to gain aerodynamic advantage.

Weight
The car must meet a minimum weight with a body of 2.75 lbs. (Stock weight is 3.14 lbs)
Electronics
Electronics must remain completely stock and must be the electronics supplied with the Team Associated SR10 RTR.

• Reedy 3300 kV Brushless Motor (stock SR10 motor)
• Reedy SC600-BL ESC (stock SR10 ESC)
• Any receiver provided the gyro is disabled
• Team Associated XP Steering Servo or any steering servo with a retail/MAP price of less than $50
Electronics must remain unmodified, including software settings.
Not Allowed
• Aftermarket motors
• Aftermarket ESCs
• Motor timing adjustments
• Boost or turbo settings
• Modified ESC firmware
Battery
• 2S LiPo batteries only
• Hard case required
• Maximum voltage: 8.4V fully charged
• Maximum capacity: 6500 mAh
• Battery must remain in the stock battery location
Tires
Only the following tires are permitted.
Option 1 — Stock Tire
• Team Associated SR10 stock tires
• Must use stock foam inserts
Option 2 — Spec Tire
A spec tire will be determined as an alternative.
Tire Prep Rules
• Traction additives and cleaners are permitted (Papa Willie’s, TDK, etc.) • No Tire Warmers Allowed

Chassis and Suspension
• Stock SR10 chassis required
• Suspension geometry must remain within stock limitations i.e. shocks must be mounted within factory holes on shock towers
• Shock oil changes are allowed
• Spring changes are not allowed
• Ride height, camber, and toe adjustments are allowed
Bearings
Bearings must remain stock SR10 bearings or may be replaced with standard steel ball bearing replacements. Ceramic bearings are not allowed.
Gearing
• Stock spur gear required
• Maximum pinion gear: 18T
General Rules
The goal of this class is to maintain:
• Low cost
• Equal performance
• Beginner-friendly racing
Any modification that provides a performance advantage outside the intent of this class may be ruled illegal by the race director.
